This section of the web site contains descriptions of systems usually fitted to fork lift trucks.
It is not meant to teach persons of a technical nature such as service engineers and the like but I hope that it will be a useful source of information for those who teach fork lift truck operators and anyone else who simply wants to know how things work without being too technical.
Most of the write ups in this section reflect the way I used to teach the subjects at Yale Fork Lifts back in the 70s and are therefore done mainly from memory.
