forks rubbing on floor

This picture speaks for itself. The good fork can be seen at the bottom of the picture and the worn one at the top. This has been caused by the operator's driving the truck with the forks dragging on the floor.

Forks are heat-treated and tempered to prevent this from happening but this picture shows that some folks will wear them out no matter what precautions are taken.
