Maintain correct travel position
This slide shows the correct laden travel position. The load should be position so that its lowest point is 10 to 15 cm, (4 to 6 inches), from the floor. Rear tilt should be applied at this point to secure the load against the truck. The amount of tilt to be applied obviously depends upon the load being carried but a stable load should have all or most of the rear tilt applied.
