Place first load close to lorry headboard
The first load should normally be placed next to the headboard of the lorry. VOSA produced a matrix in the middle of 2012 which shows how far loads may be away from the headboard depending on the load. (More details on the next slide but one).
Note: Different rules apply if the trailer is unsupported.
