Practical lesson summary

summaryAlthough not absolutely essential it is usual to give a short summary of the main points taught at the end of the lesson.

It is important that this is kept short and usually three or four key points are enough. Unless care is taken the trainees can start to think that the whole lesson is being given all over again!

In our example here you would mention just the critical things learned such as the aisle position and turning point. As an alternative the instructor could ask the trainees a couple of questions to see if they have remembered correctly and this may be a better approach.
