Stacking with a forklift truck - step 1

stacking step 1

The stack should be approached squarely and carefully and the load, (or forks), should be around about 15 cm, (6 ins), away from the stack. This is to discourage pedestrians from walking through the gap whilst at the same time allowing for clearance to any part pf the stack that may be sticking out.

It helps considerably if the truck's steering wheels are straight at this stage.
