Sideloader safe stacking sequence

The following assumes that the sideloader can be positioned very close to the stack so that undercutting is not necessary. This is often not the case as packing strips used to separate loads often protrude into the aisleway.

During all movements of the hydraulic controls the machine's parking brake should be applied and the gears should be placed in neutral.

It is essential that the operator checks all around before moving in any direction. If mirrors are fitted they should be used in addition to a visual check and not instead of.
