Totoya (SAS) system. Integral control valve

This control valve operates the hydraulic functions in a similar manner to conventional forklift trucks and controls hoist, tilt and sideshift functions etc. In addition it receives signals from the sensors which control it's behavior automatically. If an operator tries to tilt too fast the system will automatically slow the tilt function down.

By pressing a small button on the tilt lever, (shown above), the forks can be brought to the horizontal automatically when tilting forward thereby removing one of the most difficult judgments that the operator has to make.

The third part of the SAS system consists of a neutral position solenoid.
