This is a microprocessor based unit which has been developed by Toyota.
This unit monitors inputs from all of the seven sensors and decides what action to take depending upon the circumstances. It then sends an appropriate signal to one of the three actuators.
These actuators control the following functions:
- Swing lock axle
- Integral control valve
- Neutral position solenoid
