Linking forward to the next lesson
Although I haven't showed it on the free lesson plan it is usual to include a link forward to the next lesson at the end of a practical lesson.
This should be to the next logical lesson. An example here would be "now we have completed turning left in an aisleway and lining up at the stack we are going to practice turning to the right"
On instructor courses I have conducted, candidates often looked for something impressive to say. DON'T- keep it simple!
It is more important to include a link forwards if a break is coming up so the trainees know what's in the next lesson. If the instructor takes the break with the trainees s/he should avoid getting into a discussion about the next lesson as it will "steal their thunder".
The instructor is responsible for safety during practical lessons and this is covered on the next slide.
