above shoulder handlingIt is generally reckoned that a person loses approximately fifty per cent of their strength when they handle loads above their shoulder height.

The problem with this is sometimes identifying who may be at risk. It's easy with the picture shown here but what about an office worker who has to put heavy filing boxes on top of a high cabinet? These activities should be the subject of a risk assessment.
