Can I take my licence to another company to get a job?

The certificate of basic training is recognised as proof that a person has attended an approved course and passed the practical and written tests. For this reason most prospective employers will accept it as long as it is not too old. It should be noted that they don't have to however.

In any case, if you are expected to drive a different type of truck, the prospective employer has a duty to make sure that you are capable of doing that so you may get the job but be expected to attend a further course to make sure you are capable on their forklift trucks.
